My father Harold Boland Jr. started Berkshire Aluminum Products in 1967, located on North Street near Pontoosuc Lake from 1973 to 1984. My father operated the company under the same name in Daytona Beach, Florida. I started working summers for my father in 1975 then full time in 1981. I've been in the screening business and aluminum trade ever since. I started Berkshire Screen 10 years ago when I moved back to the area. I have been introducing a heavy duty aluminum framing system for screened porches that eliminates any painting or maintenance and keeps the screen tight. Berkshire Screen is a division of Berkshire Plate Glass, which I purchased in 2012
